Both work great but due to my need of larger backup drives I am upsizing
and have less of a need for these.

Both have outstanding Hitachi 2.5" SATA 7200RPM extended life drives
inside. So if you have a Mac with a smaller capacity 2.5" drive, you maybe
interested in one of these to swap the drives (clone your Mac drive to the
external, then swap the drives). The two drives are as follows:

1) Simple black external enclosure, single USB2 port, BUS powered. Roughly
4.75" x 3" x 0.48". $30 shipped in the USA

2) Combo enclosure with one USB2 connector and two FW400 (1394) connectors
(one each of the larger and small FW type connectors). This drive is NOT
bus powered, but comes with a USB-to-PwrJck cable to power the drive. In
other words, you plug the USB power cable into your computer or powered USB
hub then you can connect the drive's data up via another USB cable or via
FW. Dimensions roughly 5" x 3.1" x 0.7". $35 shipped in the USA

If confused about any of the descriptions above, I can take & send photos
for clarification.

Thanks,
