The LCD appears to lose contrast when more is visible on the LCD. I'm not sure what causes this. - Powerbook 140 top case with LCD. This LCD backlight lights up when connected, but nothing is visible when the unit boots. - Powerbook 170 top case without LCD. - Powerbook 170 front LCD bezel.
