So I gave 4 Mac Minis as Christmas gifts to certain friends/family this year and they went over pretty well. So well in fact, that it prompted a bit of a Mac revolution for one of my friends.
So first up is my brother's 1.66GHz Core Duo Mac Mini. He's been using it for about 5 years since I set it up for him and has been really happy with it, but this year I offered to replace it with one of the 2.0GHz Core2 Mac Minis with a 1TB HD and he has now fully switched over to the new Mini. Specs on the Core Duo are below: 1.66GHz Core Duo 2GB RAM 250GB HD Superdrive Airport Extreme Bluetooth 2.0 Firewire 400 4 USB ports Also for sale is one of the Mac Minis I gave as a Christmas gift. No, it wasn't rejected, I just underestimated how much my friend would like Macs once he tried one. He's now gone and purchased a brand new Mac Mini for the family and a MacBook Pro for himself and his daughter. I'll be selling his two Dell notebooks and Compaq tower for him elsewhere :). Specs on the Core2 Mini below: Core2 Duo 2.0GHz (upgraded to T7200 from Core Solo) 2GB RAM 60GB HD DVD/CD-RW Combo drive Airport Extreme Bluetooth 2.0 Firewire 400 4 USB ports Both Minis pass the Apple Service Diagnostic and include power supply and DVI-to-VGA adapter. Asking $195 each shipped, OBO + shipping. I also have 1 white Apple remote I can include with either Mini for $10.
