It's black, and it does have a slight chip in it near the left corner by the magsafe connector. Overall though, it's in quite nice condition. I have a 2012 MBA, but I think it should work with any of the 11" models. Speck sells it for $50 brand new. I think $25 shipped is reasonable- it's only a few months old afterall.
