Both of these modules are Apple Factory Original (OEM) 2.0GB PC3-8500 1066MHZ SO-DIMM 204 Pin. They will work with recent MacBooks, MacBook Pros, and iMacs--need to support 2GB per slot DDR3 memory, with minimum speed of 1066MHz or less ((PC3-)8500 or lower). In addition, generally, a computer can use faster memory then the minimum specified, as long as it is the right type (e.g. DDR3). Two good resources for check for Mac memory compatibility are OWC (http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/apple/memory/) and Crucial (http://www.crucial.com/mac/index.aspx). These two memory models came from a fully working MacBook Pro. They are the modules that came with the laptop when it was purchased new from Apple a couple of years ago.
