Hi Lemswappers, I bought this thinking I would use it more than I do but since I have gotten my iPad Mini, I find myself using it almost exclusively. This is a very nice mid-2011model; 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5 with 2 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM, 64 GB Flash Drive.
Runs great and cosmetically is a 9/10 due to a small scratch on the top but I have put a carbon fiber skin on it and it looks slick. There is one minor pixel area on the bottom right of the screen by the border of the frame but you only notice it on start up, otherwise you just don't see it. Battery holds a good charge (really don't know how long as I really haven't been using it). Here's the primary issue with this machine: I bought it at the right price because it was a 'French' version so the keyboard was a bit different. So, I purchased keyboard stickers and replaced the French ones with US ones and voila, you can't tell it was French…..well there is only one minor difference but ask me for a picture and you can see for yourself. Very few of the keys were stickered over as most were the same so that means most of the keys are backlit except those stickered over……honestly, hardly even noticeable. So I am passing on the lower price I bought it for. Very quick machine and no, you don't have to speak French…..well, you may talk with an accent or enjoy a glass of wine while using it. $575 Shipped in Continental USA/Canada.
