Greetings, Swappers, For sale is a Late 2006 White Macbook that suffered a hard disk failure.
Main specs are a 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 3GB RAM (maximum supported), and a SuperDrive. I can either ship with no hard drive (since its dead) or with a new blank Kingston 128GB SSD (for $80 more). This machine CANNOT run Mountain Lion. Cosmetically, it will have a new top case/keyboard/trackpad and screen bezel (I bought them but didn't install them yet), but the external case components are scratched and scuffed as is normal for these polycarbonate bodies. The screen has some hotspotting. It's noticeable, but does not interfere with use or even show up in pics. The battery is fair, giving about 1.5 hours of unplugged word processing/web browsing time. All other ports and wifi work marvelously, and I will ship the VGA dongle, too. We're asking $250 shipped ($330 if you want the SDD installed) from 18944.
