I have a pair of "Dell Certified Memory" 2GB SODIMMS (so 4GB if you take both), PC2-5300 RAM modules. These were pulled from a Dell laptop.
These should work in several of the older MacBook and MacBook Pro models and perhaps others. Be sure to check the specs on your particular machine for 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) use on the Apple web site ... http://support.apple.com/specs/#macnotebooks $25 for the pair shipped anywhere in the USA. $15 if you only want one.
