This might be of interest only to lovers/collectors of 68k Macs.

I need to clear this out of my basement, and I'd like to get get rid of it
as one whole lot. All parts in are working order and come from a
non-smoking environment:

-- 1 Performa 636CD upgraded with a Performa 640 DOS Compatible motherboard.

The specs on this beast are:
64 MB RAM
Full 68040 CPU
No Hard Drive, uses PATA/IDE hard drives but can only see partitions up to
2GB in size
No working PRAM Battery -- uses a Rayovac 840 Computer Clock Battery. I'll
incude the dead one for reference.
Internal Apple 300i Plus CD-ROM drive
Comm Slot Ethernet board
Apple TV/Presentation System with black Apple infrared remote (works great
with a digital convertor box for over the air TV!)
DOS Compatible card with 486DX2 CPU and 32MB RAM; includes joystick serial
port & sound card. Capable of running DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and
Windows98 (barely).
Gravis PC GamePad w/serial joystick interface
Apple Design Keyboard & Mouse (both ADB)
Plaintalk Microphone
Power cord & Localtalk/Printer cords

-- 1 Apple Multiple Scan 15 Display w/power cord

-- 1 Apple Style Writer II 1200 black & white inkjet printer w/power cord &
printer cable. Needs a new cartridge, but prints fine.

You'll also get these spare parts:

-- 1 spare working 640 DOS Comatible motherboard with 68040LC CPU & DOS
board 486DX2 CPU with sound card,
-- 1 internal Apple 300i Plus CD-ROM dive with drive sled
-- 1 internal manual inject floppy drive
-- Spare I/O port plates for 640 motherboard

As I said, I'd like to get rid of these as a package.

This was running just fine using System 7.5.5 with all the component
software upgrades until the hard drive failed. You'll have to provide your
own operating system media.

Since I have no idea what this worth, make me a reasonable offer. You'll
have to pay actual shipping costs, and since these things are heavy, that
might be more than this lot is worth.

If you live in the Kansas City metro area, I will consider trading all
this for a working 1st or 2nd generation iPod or a G3 slot-loading iMac
(any color) in good condition and we can work out pickup/delivery to avoid
the shipping costs.

If I don't get any nibbles before July 9, I'll have to send this rig to the
electronics recycling graveyard. I'd hate to do that, as this runs just
fine, even though it is almost 20 years old.
