Here I have a rescued Macbook Pro3,1 A1226 2.2 ghz Core 2 Duo. The
facts: I replaced the keyboard and battery and both are fully functional.
The machine had some rough handling so the USB port on the left side is not
functional. The top above the keyboard close to the monitor is flexed upward
slightly. There is a single vertical line on the screen visible roughly 2
inches from the right side. It is very thin and shows as a yellow line.
Depending on your angle it is almost invisible.
Machine will be wiped and I will download and install Mavericks, as it
is free ; )
