Hi swappers, I have a total of 2GB FB-DIMM PC2-5300 RAM that was pulled from a working first generation Mac Pro. It is 3rd party server RAM that is completely compatible with these first gen models. I would highly recommend installing all four of these together on the same single riser card for best performance.
This RAM is likely compatible with the second generation Mac Pros, but I have not had an opportunity to validate that yet. $30 shipped within the US. PayPal is strongly preferred.
