Hi, I have recently got a Mid-2009 MacBook Pro that appears to need a new logic board, but I can't afford one until I sell off some of its old parts.
So, here goes: First up is the display. The machine must've been dropped, as there's some separation in the top right corner. As a consequent, the glass is slightly separated from the frame (the glass is unbroken and looks good, fortunately), and there's a bit of dust that got in behind. It could probably be repaired, but I don't have the nerve to work with it. Hinges are tight enough, but there's some cosmetic damage to the clutch cover. $25 plus shipping. Next is the top case. It's in OK shape, with a bend corresponding to the dent on the display (lower right corner), but all the keys work and the backlight is nice and bright. The sleep sensor/battery level indicator is questionable, but fortunately, replacements are cheap enough, and it's easy to replace. Doesn't include the sleep indicator (which is integrated with the hard drive cable). $50 plus shipping. All prices are negotiable, and I can send pictures upon request. Thanks!
