I am selling my Macbook Pro 15” (non-unibody) originally bought this as a refurb from Apple. This is the 2008 non-unibody model, with the matte screen. This model was covered under a recall where there were issues with the graphics processor, resulting in replacement of the display, logic board, and optical drive in late 2011 (I have records if you need them).
Included: Original discs, documentation 15” Waterfield nylon sleeve NO MAGSAFE CHARGER Specs: 15” matte screen Geforce 8600M GT graphics 2.4 GHz Core2Duo (Intel) 4 GB Memory (667 MHz) 200 GB SATA hard disk drive Superdrive Battery with <100 cycles OS X 10.5 (fresh install) Condition and “issues”: Cosmetic condition is very good to excellent. There are a couple of tiny scratches and scuffs on the bottom case, but the rest of the case is in great shape. The display is good, there are a couple of tiny bright spots on the bottom left and mid-right corners of the screen which you can really only see when the computer starts up with the light gray background. ***I stopped using this computer after the space bar began to “stick” and the computer would assume it was being pressed down although I was not. Removing the space bar fixed the issue and I tried to swap out the space bar mechanism but couldn’t fix it.
