Hi Swappers, I have a 15" MacBook Pro, Early 2011, with a bad logic board (bad GPU). This is the 2.0 GHz/AMD 6470M model. When powered on, it exhibits symptoms like lines on the screen, distortion, etc. Produces the same results on an external display, so it's definitely the graphics card.
Other than the bad GPU, everything else looks to be in good shape. Has some light scratches on the bottom plate and a very slight dent/warp on the front-right side. Pics available on request. The DVD drive was replaced with an optical bay HDD caddy/Data Doubler, which is included. The drive was pulled from the optical caddy but the caddy is still in place. Main bay has a 500 GB hard drive, wiped and zeroed. Comes with 4 GB DDR3 memory (2x2GB). This is a good machine that can be used for parts or if anyone has a good logic board and wants to do a swap, this would be the perfect host. Display clamshell is in good condition, no major scratches or dents. These models go for around $500-600 in good working condition, so I'm looking for $230 shipped in CONUS. That's a great price for all of these parts. PayPal preferred.
