High level, I'm looking for a low power consumption PPC system (read as: not my dual G5) running a G4 at 1.33 GHz or faster; I'm currently running a 1 GHz PBG4, but the lack of USB 2 ports is a problem. I'd rather buy from someone here than on the open eBay/Craigslist/pawn shop market, if possible, and ideally I'd like something as "new" as possible,
Mac Mini: 1.42, or 1.33/1.5 GHz models only; I currently have a 1.25 GHz that can act as a donor/recipient system if something needs a bit of work. RAM, hard drive, and optical drive aren't a major concern, as all three are very easily swappable. Strong preference given to a system with working APX/BT, as my 1.25 GHz lacks both. *Book: It doesn't need to be a show piece, but it does need to be functional. The drives should function/boot, the display should work, and both RAM slots should work. Candidly, if I'm choosing a Book, it's due to the increased RAM ceiling and potential for dual displays. My preference would be a 15" PBG4, but I'm definitely open to others. Presence of accessories (power bricks, video adapters) and/or orI I am restore media are a bonus, but by no means necessary. The battery on a book doesn't need to hold a charge, either; it will be used almost exclusively at my desk. Let me know what you have, and what you're looking for in terms of dollars or trade.
