Hi all,

I have two 20" Apple Cinema Displays that it's time for me to part with.
Neither is 100% functional.

These monitors came to me from university surplus with a common defect for
the 20-inch displays: they would not take the normal 60W power brick unless
you placed electrical tape over the center prong to short out the ground.
With that "tape mod," they worked very well for the 7 or so years I had
them, until one of them started intermittently just not working at all. They
don't need the tape mod if you use a 90W power adapter, but those are hard
to come by. They do display some ghosting if you leave an image up for long
enough, but I haven't seen it actually be permanent ghosting that you would
see if you were to take them off my hands. Physically they have some slight
scuffs but are otherwise in good condition.

How about $20 for both of them? Local pickup only, shipping would certainly
cost more than they're worth. I think they certainly do have more years of
life in them, particularly with a 90W brick, so I'd much rather see them in
a swapper's hands than sitting unused on my floor. Cash or PayPal preferred,
and obviously mask-wearing and social distancing.
