Like any zealous and self-serving witch-hunter, Michael Pugliese, your quality of "research" and your motives betray you. Loki, of Scandinavian folklore, is a not unusual name. You've just revealed, once again, your manure pile and your slip-shod shoveling.
What a shabby, dirty little world you live in. The most famous sit-in photo of the 1960s is that of our Woolworth sit-in at Jackson, Mississippi -- the most violently attacked sit-in of the decade and the most publicized. In that photo, there are three sit-ins: myself, Joan Trumpauer [White], and Anne Moody [Black.] Joan and Anne were long-time students of mine and are close friends to this moment. Loki, who passed along the interesting gun/doctor stats piece which I posted earlier today and which has [for whatever reasons] appeared to so upset you, is Loki Mulholland [29]-- one of Joan's five sons, hardly a survivalist, a computer expert and Western singer, and as committed to human rights as his mother. And, indeed, that Loki happens to be one of our family's closest friends. And he always will be. You've lived so long in the world of "a little learning" -- a book's vague footnote on Ella Baker, Google "research," the bitter testimonies of ex-this and ex-that -- that you can't distinguish fact from fiction. I have no idea what your motives are, Michael Pugliese -- but I do view you as someone to whom I would never turn my back.
