S.U.C.I. opposes the Visit of Prime Minister of Israel Mr. Sharon to India Comrade Nihar Mukherji the General Secretary Socialist Unity Centre of India (S.U.C.I.) has issued the following press ststement on29 August, 2003 Expressing deep indignation over the scheduled visit of war monger US stooge Prime Minister of Israel, who being backed by the US imperialists is engaged in killing thousands of Palestinian freedom fighters with heinous intention to destroy Palestinian freedom movement so as to perpetuate its illegal occupation of Palestine, Sri Nihar Mukherjee, General Secretary, SUCI, in course of a statement strongly criticized the BJP-led Central Government for its dangerous leanings towards this pro-imperialist butcher Government of Israel and inviting its Prime Minister to India which apart from being a severe blow to world-wide anti-imperialist movement was also a slur upon our anti-imperialist tradition. Sri Mukherjee, therefore, called upon the people of the country to strongly oppose this visit of Sharon and raise their strong voice against BJP government’s pro-US imperialist policy of developing ties with the Zionist Government of Israel.
