BIG NEWS UPDATE AUTUMN 2000.......
NEW ATTILA THE STOCKBROKER & BARNSTORMER ALBUM ŒJUST ONE LIFE¹ - OUT NOW!
By far the best and most personal recording I have ever done, made at a
major turning point in my life, hugely inspired by and dedicated to my
partner Robina and released just in time for our marriage on October 20th.
That¹s the BIG news!
CD track listing as follows.....
Haider!/The Ghost Road/Game Boy Rude Boy/Scumball Pinochet (for Marc
Bolan)/The Worm & The Archer/Cero/His Master¹s Voice/Another Country/The
Ballad of Comrade Enver/20 Years/Just One Life.
The Clash, Renaissance music, ska/reggae and a genuine home-made T.Rex
song...my lifelong
musical influences and inspirations have finally come together in a big, big
way!

Lots of gigs to celebrate, including our post-wedding and my 43rd birthday
one in Southwick on Saturday October 21st..and it would be great to see as
many people as possible at the LONDON album launch Upstairs at the Garage on
Thursday October 12th, where I¹ll be doing some new poems (got lots of
those!) as well as performing with Barnstormer, and at the BRIGHTON one on
Friday November 10th at the College of Technology in Pelham Street, where
Robina is Head of Music - as well as myself and Barnstormer some of her
(very talented!) students will be performing that evening, so will the
inimitable WOB, and the Evening Star/Dark Star Brewing Company, who are now
official sponsors of Attila the Stockbroker (!!) will be providing the first
barrels of a new brew in our honour (scoopers please note!)
New life. New album. Poet in Residence at Brighton & Hove Albion going
well. Moving very soon (but not very far) The most creative and
inspirational time of my life! And the Seagulls are going up this
year........
