Here's what I know, or suspect. Ville can fill in details or correct
me.

1. There was some discussion recently, just before releasing 0.9.1,
about requiring unit tests for all official parts of IPython. Perhaps
this was the reason why ipy_leo.py got put in a separate distro. It's
certainly a reasonable thing to do.

2. I got the ipython-extensions branch, then copied ipy_leo.py to the
IPython/Extensions folder.

3. I then started test.leo as usual with Python, not ipython, with
Leo's ipython plugin enabled. As always, I started test.leo in a
console. I then did Alt-Ctrl-I to start IPython in the console. As
before, I could type in IPython while Leo was running.

4. ipy_leo is a bit complex these days, so in IPython I just did dir()
to figure out what was available. Among the symbols I saw c, g and
wb. So that's the interface. wb is a LeoWorkBook.

Clearly, all is well with ipy_leo--I simply need to update the docs re
Leo's ipython plugin. I'll probably study the code in ipy_leo.py:
Ville has been busy :-)
