Yes, that is compatible with my vague recollections.  My idea was to
write a single new 'general-purpose' scintilla lexer (in C or pyrex)
that is driven by Leo's present mode files.  Clearly, this can wait,
and it's not clear whether it can ever be done without recompiling
qt.  It might make a cute addition to qt or pyqt though...
