Back when I was a Windows user, I was a big fan of Leo. I've always
wanted to use it on linux, but the dreadful font rendering (not Leo's
fault, a tcl-tk thing) had been a show stopper. Until now.

After the recent release of python 2.6 I was finally (and easily) able
to set up a nice looking Leo with antialiased fonts on Ubuntu Hardy.
If you are curious, I spell out the gory details and provide a screen
shot at

http://erl.nfshost.com/2008/10/11/installing-antialiased-leo-on-ubuntu/

I have found Leo extremely useful, and am delighted to finally have it
available again.
