Indeed, that was it. Now I remember that I had qt-scintilla before reinstalling the system from scratch. I admit it's my fault, I didn't document all dependencies (this time I already did!) for the qt GUI when I've tried it for the first time (it was still in its own branch, before being merged into trunk). But I'm noticing that the traceback didn't ring any bell about the missing dependency.
