Last night the plan got clearer. Rather than have two scripts, a
"before" (make screenshot) script and and an "after" (make callouts)
script, a single script will suffice, provided that the slideshow
creator specifies callouts and markers before making the screenshot.

Doh! The two scripts merge. The unified script takes the screenshot,
finds the callouts and markers and calls Inkscape. I'll merge the
scripts after finishing the "after" script.

In other words, creating a screenshot happens "all at once, in a
single pass", and includes writing the text of the slide, specifying
the screenshot with @screenshot-tree, and specifying the the callouts
and markers with @callout and @marker. This is a significant
improvement: no need to take the screenshot and *then* do post-
production.

Another improvement: one or more settings should give the desired size
of screenshots--the size should not be hard-coded into the script.
