Hi All,

I think I remember a conversation or document about how to use Leo as
a tool to unobtrusively study and dissect code from elsewhere.

I have a program in perl I'd like to understand, break apart, and
remodel in python. If possible I'd like to leave the original intact,
yet still take advantage of Leo's ability to add nodes and clones
while I make notes to myself of what I think each piece is meant to
accomplish. It's not vital that the original perl source remain
unmodified, but I would like to keep changes to a minimum so that a)
the script always functions exactly as originally written, and b)
folding in upstream changes is relatively painless, and error free.

How is this done, or failing an official method, would you go about it?

thanks,
