Funny, just a day or so ago I was looking into having files auto
committed by git every time they're saved, using inotify (linux folder
monitoring). It turned out to be harder than I thought, because, for
example, Leo writes (wrote) a temporary file, and then, I assume,
renames it. So maybe it would be easier now. Another problem was
nano, which seems to open and close a file in write mode when you first
load it. Perhaps to test for write access?

Cheers -Terry
