Hi Ed,

Prompted by the tutorial, I did the following:

* Ran Leo
* File->New
* Created node called "@rst /home/slitt/myDocument.html" below the
  "NewHeadline" (call it the rst node from now on)
* Fine->Save as /home/slitt/steve.leo
* Put the war and peace surrounded by pound signs in the rst node's
  body text.
* Put random text in the rst node's body below that
* Below the rst node, created node called "@settings" (call it the
  settings node.
* As a child of the settings node, put a node called "@bool
  rst3_call_docutils = True". I couldn't tell for sure from the
  tutorial whether this should have been a child node or in the
  settings node, so I took my best guess.
* File->Save
* Clicked to highlight the rst node
* Cmds->Rst_commands->rst3 (the log window said "done")
* Opened an Xterm terminal emulator in /home/slitt
* ls -ltra
* The latest file was steve.leo. There was no myDocument.html
* sudo updatedb; locate myDocument.html
* No myDocument.html was found.

I've attached steve.leo to this email. It's less than 2KB. I'm using
Leo 4.10 build 5020 2012-02-26. Is that why I'm getting no
myDocument.html?

I just downloaded 4.11, which I'll try tomorrow.

Thanks,

SteveT
