This proposal may be controversial.  Furthermore, deleting macro commands 
may affect people who are not on this list.  That is, we don't know for 
sure whether anyone ever uses macros.

Having said that, I think removing these commands makes sense.  Emacs's 
macros seem both clumsy and feeble in comparison with Leo's abbreviations 
and/or @button scripts.

Given that some unknown Leo users *may* be using macros, it may be best to 
deprecate them first.

What do you think, Amigos? Has anyone here *ever* used macros? I surely 
have not.
