In fact, there are at least *three *general-purpose tree-editors, Leo, org-mode in emacs and outline-mode in vim. org-mode is a strong competitor to Leo. It is already much more popular than Leo, and in some limited and geeky ways can do more than Leo can. I see no reason to discuss this further.
