leoQt.py may have reached a breaking point as far as code quality and 
readability go.  I recently saw that the jupyter code appears to have a 
cleaner way of handling the complications.  I'll investigate further, and 
have created #570 <https://github.com/leo-editor/leo-editor/issues/570>to 
memorialize these thoughts.
