Recent experiments show that installing pyqt6 is straightforward on all platforms. As a result, Leo's *installers *for 6.7.8 will only install qt6.
Installing only qt6 is an *experimental policy.* If all goes well, the *next* release (6.7.9) will remove support for qt5. For *this* release (6.7.8), Leo's code base will continue to support both qt5 and qt6. The new policy carries little risk because only straightforward changes to "requirements.txt" and "pyproject.toml" are involved. All questions and comments are welcome.
