Actually chances are very high that the crash is after the application enters XtAppMainLoop(), so that's not too helpful yet. Whether things afterwards are "simple" is another question. On http://www.lesstif.org/bugs.html we discuss some more details on debugging. Don't forget to install a debugging version of LessTif's libXm! Running the app inside gdb (perhaps with -sync option to the application=mfm) should result in a more precise result where the crash happens. At least unless some platform-specific issues start to hurt - like they would do on OS/2. One may have to set breakpoint on some function being called on that SIGSEGV (abort(), etc.). >Here are the software levels: >NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 >Cygwin 1.3.10 (0.51/3/2) 2002-02-25 >XFree86 4.2.0 >LessTiff 0.93.18 >MFM 1.3 Not sure whether that crash is actually something related to X11 or Motif/LessTif. The warning is at first glance not the reason(!?), so it may be something different. --- Alexander Mai [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Lesstif mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://terror.hungry.com/mailman/listinfo/lesstif
