the cvs server seems to be playing up, i got it from the online interface "cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)" this change seems to work! :-D hidden files can now be hidden. im afraid im using openmotif at the moment... the bugs when using nedit are just too much of a hassle for my everyday activities... the text selection one particularly. :-( cheers, Sam -- The fact is that camels are far more intelligent than dolphins.
