I'm thinking of just scrapping this programmer's code because there doesn't seem to be any way for me to get Lesstif to work as a solution for a modern desktop Linux app. I am mostly the owner/designer of the program but I do have somewhat of a background in coding but am not familar enough with what is happening with Lesstif to know if I should continue to try to work with Linux programmers in this area.
I hope this list can be the place for some very general comments. I mean, we all don't have to defend the tools we are using (sometimes we are just stuck with them).
Is Lesstif going to be the library that will produce a robust app that any decently-recent version of Linux can use?
Is there any resource library that can answer that job?
