So, I tried it, and it worked well: the same source compiled with new release (more
precisely -- CVS at approximately Mar 18 19:31:25 CST 2003) works, where old version
failed.
I also randomly tried some test programs coming with this release. All tested
programs, but one, worked well (any way, without visual discrepancy).
The program that failed is $CVSROOT/test/Xm/textf/test12: when I click on ``enter
text'' button, then selection of ``textf'' field (filled with 23.5) become "dirty" --
this field get filled up with apparently random characters and get highlighted.
I suppose this is happening because of
XmTextFieldSetSelection(textf, 0,99, CurrentTime)
In this line, the end_of_selection is 99, which is greater than length of displayed
value ("23.5" for this matter).
I hope this will help you to find the bug.
