I downloaded eclipse and see the same thing. Unfortunately I wouldn't
know how to get info on what causes the bug.
You seem to know your way in the eclipse mailing lists. Can you ask them
for more information about this ?
Regarding the mouse wheel operation : does Rick's message help you ?
