TO ERASE PEN MARKS FROM LEATHER
Saturate a soft cloth with milk, then blot the marked area and wipe with a second damp rag.
TO NEVER BURN ANOTHER DOUBLE BOILER PAN
Place a few marbles in the bottom half of your double boiler before filling it with water. Once the water level gets low, the marbles will start to rattle, alerting you to add more water before the bottom of the pan burns.

Insert a penny into the shallowest tread so that Lincoln's head is pointed towards the hubcap. If you can see the hair on top of Lincolns head, the tread is very worn down and its time for new tires.
EASY MEASURING CUP CLEANUP
When a recipe calls for honey, peanut butter, or margarine, line the measuring cup with a piece of plastic wrap first. That way all you have to do is remove the plastic wrap and rinse the cup.
TO SIDESTEP WORRY ABOUT ICE DRIPPING ONTO THE FLOOR
When you tend to a bruise, cut a clean sponge in half, soak in water, then place in separate plastic bags and freeze. Apply a frozen sponge directly to the wound when needed. The sponge holds the moisture.*
