I disagree totally with the view expressed by one Gospel Akuetiemhe
concerning the "silent deduction" of credit by Glo Mobile. Also I
find the language used much "uncourteous". This is an open forum
where everyone is free to express his or her opinion "but with
respect for one another"

Here is my experience on the "silent deduction" and to defend that
it is wrong in its entirety for an operator to decut later when a
man loads credit.

Around September 2004 ending, I just discover that when I load
credit on my Glo Mobile Phone, about =N= 500, =N= 200 and others
were deducted anytime I load credit. Tere was one painful occasion
where I loaded =N= 500 card to make an urgent call and the whole =N=
500 was removed.

I desperately called the customer care to explain the reason for
unexpected deduction from my accoutn and I was told that the
deductions was because around May - June 2004, I used the "Magic
Plus" feature of the Glo mobile and that they could not deduct from
my account that time and that I am owing them around =N= 3000 plus
that I have just paid back a little above =N= 1500.

I have to write the NCC through the address I got from the author of
this group to lament my plight. This is so because I am almost
fearing at any time again to load credit maybe it will be deducted
again.

However, NCC intervened and they stopped the deductions.

So I belive once your credit has finished you are supposed to be
disconnected. If you wish to surf the net again, load another credit
and continue.

Anyone who is supporting the fact that they should allow browsing
even when your credit finishes is also saying they should extend
such to making calls so that when your credit finishes you can still
make calls. This is not the best scenario for the network Operator.

So, my own view is that Glo mobile should disconnect users once
their credit has finished.

Wishing all a GLO-WING, BETTER CONNECTION in 2005 which will be ALL
ABOUT YOU.
