Happy New Year! GSM Today is moving!
In December 2006, the owner(s) of Freelists (http://www.freelists.org), my mailing list for four years, booted me out unceremoniously. They accused me of being a spammer and that I had spammed them! These are All FALSE accusations of course. Regular readers of GSM Today will know that I have a specific audience (GSM Users) and a specific market (Nigerian GSM space) and I have nothing to gain from adding an American to my list! I explained all of this to him/them but no reply has come and my entire list has remained removed. I also told him that if I was a spammer, I would have MORE subscribers than the 1,300 after four years. No, GSM Today grows because we are the PREMIER (and only?) e-Zine devoted to GSM in Nigeria. And after four years of writing, the search engines will always bring up our past articles. When the right people read it, they always want to read more. All of these arguments were written to the Freelists Accuser cum Jury cum Judge to no avail. Anyway, I have decided to move GSM Today using the backup of my mailing list Google Groups or any other group. I know many subscribers will be abandoned in this process. I hope you will accept this invitation and get ready to move too so that you can continue to receive GSM Today. Meanwhile, there is a lot happening in the Nigerian GSM space and I am itching to get started: 3G is coming, a 5th GSM network may appear, plus lots of battles between Glo and MTN. We better get started. If you receive an invitation from Google groups, you have to accept to join if you want to continue receiving GSM Today. stay blessed, Adam Editor, GSM Today +234-805-505-6747 Sagai "CoolApostle" Adam has rolled up his sleeves to create the first Discussion Forum for Christians in Nigeria.
