Hotplug updates

Jim, hotplug wasn't changed at all in this commit. Please revert this change, then do the package upgrades in individual commits please.

OK, so I checked further down and saw the hotplug stuff did get touched. I'd much prefer it if we could have one commit per distinct change so it's easier to revert changes or port them to branches.

If you still want to do the package upgrades, please do not upgrade the kernel yet until the new headers are out. Likewise, I'd prefer it if the iproute2 package didn't get upgraded until all 3 packages (linux, linux-libc-headers and iproute2) are on the same version (2.6.11). Whilst it shouldn't matter much, it'll only confuse users and lead to support questions as to how/why the version numbers don't have to match.

Cheers,

Matt.
