Summary: GCC Chapter 6 reference to BLFS
           Product: Linux From Scratch
           Version: SVN
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Book
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

In the Chapter 6 GCC instructions, there is a reference to check
out BLFS if you want to install additional compilers. This reference
should be changed to more accurately reflect what compilers can be
installed at this point.

At this point in Chapter 6, it would be very difficult to get the
Ada compiler installed. Perhaps changing the note to say that you
could simply add the fortran, java and objective-C compilers to the
./configure command instead.

Also, you could add a note in Chapter 5 GCC-Pass1 to mention the
hint that provides some very minor build differences allowing to
build the Ada compiler during LFS.
