That does make sense, but unfortunately each chapter can have a different SBU and build size, etc.

5.3. Binutils-2.16.1 - Pass 1:

Approximate build time: 1.0 SBU
Required disk space: 170 MB

5.12. Binutils-2.16.1 - Pass 2:

Approximate build time: 1.5 SBU
Required disk space: 114 MB

6.11. Binutiils-2.16.1 - Final Build:

Approximate build time: 1.3 SBU
Required disk space: 158 MB

While one could make 3 variables with the values, they are only used one and not often updated.

Don't know what would be best.
