I think so. As far as I can tell, the create_floppy_devices -G option is used to set the GID on the devices that the program creates; the program does not modify the permissions on the "root" /dev/%k device. To modify that group, we still need a rule that sets GROUP for udev. (Plus, the SuSE rules assign GROUP on these nodes, although they do it to all devices whose subsystem is "disk".) :-) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGagbVS5vET1Wea5wRA2KoAJ0ZiWJiY43p9XpGp8n8M/MFho5GJgCgqDcZ Zh+V3sLvSUmF3ydzZzt8xAw= =EzaH -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
