From a brief look at the code, the buffer overflow fixes in 5.02 look as
if they fix issues in that are present in 6.5-rc1's version of File
(5.00). If someone else could take a look please and verify that'd be
great. If I've misunderstood the code, feel free to punt this back to
7.0.
