This is more suitable for lfs-support mailing list, rather than the bug
tracker. However, the hint you need is probably at:
checking gdbm.h usability... no
checking gdbm.h presence... no
checking for gdbm.h... no
You should have installed GDBM several packages prior to this. Once
that's done, you should have no issues with Man-DB.
