A note about grub-1.99.
I downloaded and built grub on an older lfs system and it built fine with
the current instructions. It is not built with lvm capabilities because
we do not install libdevmapper.
All the configuration commands in Chapter 8 are available, but I have not
tested them yet. Right now it is looking like it is a relatively straight
forward drop in replacement for 1.98, but there have been a tremendous
number of changes to both the build system and the code.
