And in addition, the following naive sed:

sed -i 's/ ipl2tp.o//' ip/Makefile
}}}
Results in a failure to link the 'ip' binary as it requires some functions
from that file. So, it looks like (an old version of) libnl is a hard
requirement of iproute2 now, although it wasn't mentioned in the release
announcement, nor does it appear to be mentioned anywhere in the source
tarball either.
