There is a check, but tests are not being built because libcheck is not
detected in /tools. We need to add PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/tools/lib/pkgconfig
to the lfs user environment. (Section 4.4)
I'm in the middle of a fairly large update, so if someone wants to make
that change and run jhalfs through at least libpipeline in Chapter 6, the
tests should run.
