My experience is different. I have reiser with LVM on all my machines,
and they all work well. I have been using the combination for many
years.
However a friend who lurks on the kernel mailing lists swears he will
only use ext2/3 because of the bad press reiser incurs.
Is it reiser4 by any chance?
Maybe it's something to do with RAID?
