I have the same board, but I had problems with suse, distro of choice and fc
but I think it was two. I'll download gentoo or fc3 tomorrow and try it
again. Probably gentoo, ive been wanting to try it anyway, and never have.
But do I need the cross tools or can I just follow the svn version? (I
haven't built an actual release since 4.0)

I have Ubuntu 64-bit, Gentoo 64-bit, CentOS 64bit, FC3 64-bit and
FC4-test2 all installed on my Athlon 64 at home, which uses a NForce4
based motherboard (Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe) - all work beautifully.
